What is Balance Rewards?
Balance Rewards allows eligible Kuda Business customers to earn rewards on the balance in their main account, currently at a rate of 3% per annum and capped at ₦20,000.
How is my reward calculated?
Your reward is calculated daily based on your main account balance at the end of each day.
When do I get paid?
Your reward is paid monthly on the first day of the following month. If that day falls on a weekend or public holiday, you’ll be paid on the next working day.
Do I need to sign up?
No. There’s no opt-in or minimum balance. Rewards are calculated automatically on your eligible balance.
Will I be penalised for withdrawing money?
No. You can spend, send or withdraw your money at any time without a withdrawal penalty.
Which accounts earn rewards?
Only balances held in your main account earn rewards. Balances in expense accounts don’t qualify.
Who is eligible?
Both freelancers and registered businesses are eligible.
Can the reward rate change?
Yes. The rate may be reviewed and adjusted over time. We’ll let you know about any changes through Kuda’s usual communication channels.
